We are recruiting: we are hiring a formwork carpenter in Geneva County, Alabama. The job is at a precast concrete yard. What we are looking for: • Knows de-shuttering times and concrete curing • Able to read formwork and structural drawings • Physically fit for heavy lifting and long shifts Your main tasks: • Box out openings for doors, windows and service penetrations • Strike and strip the formwork once the concrete has cured • Check alignment with spirit level, plumb bob and string line • Fix stop ends and kickers at the construction joints • De-nail, clean and stack the panels for reuse At least 3 year(s) in a similar role.
