Great opportunity: we are hiring a horizontal milling machine operator in Franklin County, Alabama. You will work at a busy machine shop. Your main tasks: • Measure features with vernier callipers, micrometers and bore gauges • Keep in-process inspection records and log production counts • Run first-off parts and check dimensions before batch production • Set up and operate vertical and horizontal milling machines • Deburr and finish machined edges with files and emery Requirements: • ITI/NCVT certificate in machinist or turner trade • Safety conscious and comfortable wearing PPE around moving machinery At least 3 year(s) in a similar role.
