Semi-automatic welder wanted in Rock County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a semi-automatic welder in Rock County, Wisconsin. The job is at a pipe and tank fabrication yard. Requirements: • Comfortable welding mild steel, stainless and aluminium • Able to grind, fit-up and tack independently On a typical shift you will grind back and re-weld any defective runs; maintain the torch liner, earth clamp and gas hose; check welds for porosity, undercut and lack of penetration; tack components to the jig and check the fit-up against the drawing. At least 6 year(s) in a similar role. Pay around $250 per day, based on your experience. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Six days a week, one day off. Contact us to fix an interview.
