Great opportunity: plasterer's mate (Illinois)

We are recruiting: we are hiring a plasterer's mate in Schuyler County, Illinois. You will be based at a plastering and dry lining contractor. The role involves: • Apply tanking and renovating plaster to damp walls • Set up trestles and scaffold boards for ceiling work • Float and rule off walls to a flat surface with a straightedge • Dub out hollows and uneven areas before skimming • Apply bonding and browning undercoats to brickwork and blockwork • Polish the final coat with a steel trowel and water brush You should have: • Knowledge of different plasters, renders and bonding agents • Own set of trowels, floats, hawk and buckets We offer $4,300 per month plus benefits. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
