Urgent requirement: we are hiring a core maker in Unicoi County, Tennessee. What we are looking for: • Comfortable working close to furnaces and molten metal • Knowledge of green-sand and resin-bonded moulding • Basic grinding and fettling skills Day to day you will cut off risers, runners and gates with a grinder or torch; fettle and grind castings to remove flash and rough edges; carry out shakeout and knock the castings out of the sand; apply mould coatings and dress the mould cavity.
