Scaffolding erector — Wright County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a scaffolding erector in Wright County, Iowa. The job is at a shipyard. Requirements: • Full use of harness, lanyard and fall-arrest equipment • Good head for heights and comfortable on open platforms • Working-at-height / PASMA training an advantage On a typical shift you will inspect couplers, boards and tubes for damage before use; read scaffold drawings and work to the agreed loading class; hoist tubes, boards and fittings up by gin wheel and rope; erect debris netting, sheeting and brick guards; tie the scaffold back to the building with through-ties and anchors; plumb the standards and level the ledgers with a spirit level.
