Immediate opening: brick and block layer (Michigan)

Immediate opening: we are hiring a brick and block layer in Benzie County, Michigan. You should have: • Comfortable working at height on scaffolding • CSCS card or willingness to obtain one Day-to-day duties: • Checking every course for height and level with a gauge rod • Pointing and repointing weathered mortar joints • Forming arches, piers and reveals around openings • Brushing the wall down and removing mortar snots as you go • Raking out and tooling the joints to a struck or bucket-handle finish • Installing damp-proof courses, lintels and cavity trays Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough.
