Vacancy available: meat trimmer (Delta State)

We are recruiting: we are hiring a meat trimmer in Ndokwa East, Delta State. You will work at a busy retail butcher's shop. Day to day you will sharpen and hone knives on a steel and whetstone; monitor chiller and freezer temperatures to keep the cold chain; trim fat, sinew and silver skin off the cuts; run the band saw to cut cleanly through bone; dress the chilled counter and rotate stock by date. Requirements: • Food hygiene / HACCP certificate • Knowledge of halal slaughter and handling where required • Quick and accurate on the weighing scales and order maths 3+ years on the tools preferred.
