Ideal candidate: • Current medical and eyesight certificate • A good head for heights for tower crane work • Valid crane operator licence or certificate (CPCS, NPORS or local equivalent) On a typical shift you will follow hand signals and radio calls from the banksman or slinger; hoist, slew and lower loads smoothly and under control; fill in the daily logbook and raise defect reports; read and interpret the load chart before every lift; keep a safe distance from overhead power lines; grease the slew ring and inspect the wire rope for broken strands.
