Now hiring: we are hiring a press setter operator in Sauk County, Wisconsin. The job is at an auto components factory. The role involves: • Carry out first-off inspection and report rejects to the supervisor • Fit and check guards, light curtains and safety interlocks before starting • Check stamped parts against drawings using vernier calipers and gauges • Watch for cracks, burrs, wrinkles and double-hits on parts Ideal candidate: • ITI in fitter, machinist or sheet metal trade preferred • Willing to work rotating day and night shifts • Basic understanding of metal grades and thicknesses Full-time with occasional weekends.
