Horizontal milling machine operator — Bonner County

Join our team: we are hiring a horizontal milling machine operator in Bonner County, Idaho. You will be based at a busy machine shop. Day-to-day duties: • Measure features with vernier callipers, micrometers and bore gauges • Read engineering drawings and GD&T to plan the machining sequence • Set tool offsets and the work zero (G54) using an edge finder or probe • Mount workpieces in machine vices, clamps and fixtures and check for square Requirements: • Proficient with micrometers, vernier callipers and dial gauges • Able to grind and set HSS cutters • Willing to work rotating shifts and night shift At least 3 year(s) in a similar role. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
