Bar bender and fixer • Wayne County, Georgia

Vacancy available: we are hiring a bar bender and fixer in Wayne County, Georgia. You will form stirrups, links and hooks to the correct dimensions; lift and land prefabricated cages with the crane and banksman; bend bars to shape on a bar bending machine; cut rebar to length with a bar cutter or angle grinder. Requirements: • Sound knowledge of lap lengths, cover and bar spacing • Able to read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules • Comfortable working at height and in deep excavations Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough.
