Immediate opening: prep cook (Missouri)

Join our team: we are hiring a prep cook in Howard County, Missouri. You will work at a busy restaurant kitchen. On a typical shift you will manage the tandoor and skewer kebabs; prepare the mise en place before each service; cook dishes to order on the grill, fry and sauté stations; label and date all prepped ingredients in the walk-in; marinate meats and prepare curries, gravies and bases; knead dough and bake breads such as roti, naan and paratha. You should have: • Food hygiene / FoSTaC certificate • Familiar with North Indian, tandoor and continental cooking • Able to stand for long shifts and work in heat Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough. Rotating shifts. We offer $5,100 per month plus benefits. Walk-in interviews this week.
