Immediate opening: we are hiring an overlocker operator in Paulding County, Ohio. Ideal candidate: • Comfortable working long hours seated at a fast line • Understands fabric types and how to handle knits versus wovens • Good eyesight and steady hands for fine, accurate stitching Day-to-day duties: • Match notches and ply, lining up checks and stripes before stitching • Thread the machine, wind bobbins and balance top and bottom tension • Set armholes and sleeves, easing the cap so there are no puckers • Stitch seams, hems, side seams and shoulder joins to the marked seam allowance • Clear thread jams, re-time the looper and oil the machine before the shift $5,300 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
