Bricklayer wanted in Milwaukee County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a bricklayer in Milwaukee County, Wisconsin. The job is at a residential building site. What we are looking for: • Own trowel, spirit level and basic hand tools • Sound knowledge of mortar mixes and bonds (stretcher, English, Flemish) Day to day you will spreading and furrowing mortar beds with the trowel; checking every course for height and level with a gauge rod; building the corners (leads) first and racking back the courses; mixing mortar to the right consistency with sand, cement and plasticiser; laying bricks to the line, level and plumb; bedding in air bricks, weep holes and wall starters. Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough. We offer $130 per day plus benefits. Full-time with occasional weekends. Apply today to start as soon as possible.
