Protective coatings painter — Lyon County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a protective coatings painter in Lyon County, Nevada. The role involves apply textured and weatherproof masonry coatings to exterior walls; prep and prime metal, treating rust with red-oxide primer; lay down dust sheets and protect floors and furniture; clean brushes, rollers and spray kit with thinners after each job; measure up and work out paint and material quantities. Ideal candidate: • Sound knowledge of surface prep and the right primers • Skilled with brush, roller and spray application 3+ years on the tools preferred. Six days a week, one day off. Overtime paid at a premium rate. $28 per hour, negotiable for the right hands. Walk-in interviews this week.
