Immediate opening: we are hiring a butcher in Oakland County, Michigan. You will work at a busy retail butcher's shop. Day-to-day duties: • Keep halal cuts separated and clearly handled • Dress the chilled counter and rotate stock by date • Portion steaks, chops and cutlets to the ordered weights • Run the band saw to cut cleanly through bone • Vacuum-pack and wrap customer orders Requirements: • Able to use a band saw, grinder and sausage filler • Quick and accurate on the weighing scales and order maths • Clean, presentable and friendly at the counter At least 1 year(s) in a similar role.
