Vacancy available: punch press operator (Colorado)

Immediate opening: we are hiring a punch press operator in Clear Creek County, Colorado. The job is in a forging and pressing unit. On the job you will handle: • Feed blanks into the die and remove formed parts • Adjust press stroke, shut height and tonnage settings • Fit and check guards, light curtains and safety interlocks before starting • Watch for cracks, burrs, wrinkles and double-hits on parts • Load metal sheets, blanks and coils onto the press bed • Top up the press hydraulic oil and grease the slide ways What we are looking for: • Knowledge of press safety, guarding and lockout-tagout • Can use vernier calipers, micrometers and go/no-go gauges • 1-2 years' experience on power or hydraulic presses Full-time, day shift. Meals and transport allowance provided. Walk-in interviews this week.
