Immediate opening: refrigeration service engineer (New York)

We are recruiting: we are hiring a refrigeration service engineer in Saratoga County, New York. Your main tasks: • Braze copper pipework and joints with an oxy-acetylene torch • Service split AC units and VRF systems • Measure the compressor motor's amperage draw with a clamp meter • Charge systems with refrigerant (R134a, R410a, R404a) to the correct weight • Clean condenser and evaporator coils • Wire up thermostats, contactors and overload relays What we are looking for: • Own a set of hand tools and a gauge manifold • Available on-call and at weekends for breakdowns • Willing to work at heights and inside cold rooms Full-time, day shift.
