Plant operator — Colleton County

Now hiring: we are hiring a plant operator in Colleton County, South Carolina. The job is in a demolition and site-clearance yard. You will clear sites, demolish structures and load out muck and rubble; backfill trenches and compact the fill in layers; inspect tracks, bucket teeth and pins for wear before start-up; lift and place pipes, manholes and precast sections with the bucket and chains; track the machine on and off low-loaders for transport; carry out daily greasing and check hydraulic oil, coolant and fuel levels. What we are looking for: • Sound understanding of daily maintenance and greasing • Physically fit for long hours in the cab on outdoor sites 1+ years on the tools preferred. $5,300 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
