You should have: • Able to pass a practical weld test on the first day • Proven experience with TIG/GTAW on stainless and aluminium The role involves: • Inspect welds for porosity, undercut and lack of fusion • Read the WPS and weld to the specified parameters • Set the amperage on the machine and modulate the current with the foot pedal • Select the tungsten type and gas cup size to suit the job • Clean the base metal with a stainless brush and acetone before welding Six days a week, one day off.
