Tiling assistant • Maui County, Hawaii

We are recruiting: we are hiring a tiling assistant in Maui County, Hawaii. The job is on a commercial fit-out project. The role involves run silicone sealant into corners and expansion joints; match the tile pattern and coursing across the walls; lay floor and wall tiles to plumb and level using a spirit level; level large-format tiles with a tile levelling system; screed and prepare uneven floors before tiling; mix tile adhesive and cement mortar to the right consistency. Ideal candidate: • Knowledge of waterproofing and substrate preparation • Able to read setting-out drawings and tile layouts Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough. Full-time with occasional weekends. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Walk-in interviews this week.
