Press operator — Wabash County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a press operator in Wabash County, Illinois. You will be based on the press shop floor. You should have: • Can use vernier calipers, micrometers and go/no-go gauges • Attention to detail and steady hands for accurate loading • Knowledge of press safety, guarding and lockout-tagout Your main tasks: • Punch, blank, pierce, bend and form sheet metal components • Clear scrap and offcuts from the die area • Deburr and stack finished components for the next operation • Apply die lubricant and keep the tooling clean • Watch for cracks, burrs, wrinkles and double-hits on parts Pay around $210 per day, based on your experience.
