Sewing machine operator • Johnson County, Indiana

We are recruiting: we are hiring a sewing machine operator in Johnson County, Indiana. The job is on a ready-made garment production line. On a typical shift you will match notches and ply, lining up checks and stripes before stitching; operate single-needle lockstitch, overlock and flatlock machines on a production line; keep an even stitch density (SPI) and a straight, consistent seam line; sew bartacks and buttonholes and attach buttons where required. Requirements: • Good eyesight and steady hands for fine, accurate stitching • Can hit the daily piece-rate target consistently • Knows how to set tension, change needles and do basic machine maintenance $4,400 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
