Turning centre operator — Barbour County

Now hiring: we are hiring a turning centre operator in Barbour County, Alabama. You will be based in a job-work machining unit. On the job you will handle: • Deburr and chamfer machined parts by hand • Load and index turning tools in the turret • Measure finished parts with micrometers and vernier calipers • Check diameters and lengths against the spec sheet • Write and edit G-code programs at the control • Run facing, turning, boring, grooving and threading cycles You should have: • ITI / NCVT certificate in the machinist (turner) trade preferred • Willing to work rotating day and night shifts Rotating shifts.
