Bakery assistant wanted in Vernon County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a bakery assistant in Vernon County, Wisconsin. You will be based at a café with an on-site bakery. Ideal candidate: • Basic cake decorating and piping skills • Accurate at weighing and following recipes • Understanding of food-safety and HACCP basics Day to day you will prove dough in the proofer at the right temperature and humidity; laminate puff and croissant dough by folding in the butter; pipe and fill cakes, pastries and cream rolls; rotate stock and follow FIFO on raw materials; check finished products for colour, crumb and weight; knead and develop dough by hand and in the spiral mixer. At least 5 year(s) in a similar role. Full-time with occasional weekends. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Walk-in interviews this week.
