CNC milling operator — Keweenaw County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a CNC milling operator in Keweenaw County, Michigan. You will work in a die and mould making unit. Requirements: • Knows feeds, speeds and tooling for steel, aluminium and cast iron • Proficient with micrometers, vernier callipers and dial gauges On the job you will handle: • Machine slots, pockets, flats, keyways and contours to drawing • Carry out daily lubrication and routine machine maintenance • Measure features with vernier callipers, micrometers and bore gauges • Deburr and finish machined edges with files and emery • Keep in-process inspection records and log production counts • Read engineering drawings and GD&T to plan the machining sequence Performance bonus on top of base pay.
