Structural MIG welder • Clay County, Minnesota

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a structural MIG welder in Clay County, Minnesota. Requirements: • Comfortable welding mild steel, stainless and aluminium • Knowledge of short-circuit and spray-transfer modes • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety The role involves grind back and re-weld any defective runs; change worn contact tips and gas nozzles on the torch; tack components to the jig and check the fit-up against the drawing; load ER70S-6 wire spools and check the drive rolls; lay stringer and weave beads on fillet and butt joints. 6+ years on the tools preferred. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
