Vacancy available: we are hiring an uPVC welding machine operator in St. Clair County, Alabama. Day-to-day duties: • Crimp glazing beads to length and snap them into the frame • Fit espagnolette locking gear, friction hinges, handles and keeps to the sash • Drill drainage and pressure-equalisation slots in the outer frame • Cut and weld mullions and transoms into the frame • Insert galvanised steel reinforcement into the profile chambers and screw-fix it • Take site measurements of openings before fabrication Requirements: • 2+ years' experience fabricating uPVC windows and doors • Able to read cutting lists and fabrication drawings Rotating shifts.
