Immediate opening: we are hiring a fusing press operator in Erath County, Texas. The job is in a garment export house. Ideal candidate: • Comfortable standing long shifts in a hot, humid environment • Physically fit to lift bundles and handle repetitive work • 1-2 years' experience pressing garments in a factory On a typical shift you will remove creases, wrinkles and packing folds with a steam iron; keep the boiler topped up and hold steady steam pressure; give each garment a final press before packing; spray water or starch to set sharp creases on trousers and shirts.
