Lift installation engineer — Knox County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a lift installation engineer in Knox County, Indiana. You will be based in a residential tower block. What we are looking for: • Good head for heights for pit and car-top work • Willing to join the on-call/emergency breakdown rota You will set and test the overspeed governor and safety gear; rope up the traction machine and reeve the hoisting cables; run load and overload tests with test weights; mount and align landing doors, sills and car door operators; top up the oil and bleed the cylinder on hydraulic lifts; install guide rails, brackets and counterweight frames in the hoistway.
