Immediate opening: auto painter (Virginia)

Immediate opening: we are hiring an auto painter in Powhatan County, Virginia. You will be based at an accident repair centre. You should have: • Good eye for colour matching and blending • Confident with wet-sanding and machine polishing • Able to mix paint by weight on a scale Day to day you will set the spray gun air pressure and fan pattern for an even finish; check the colour match under booth lights against the maker's swatch; mix two-pack (2K) clear coat with hardener in the correct ratio; strip clean the spray guns and change the booth filters; apply primer, base coat and clear coat with an HVLP spray gun. Full-time with occasional weekends. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. We offer $3,200 per month plus benefits. Walk-in interviews this week.
