Long-haul driver — Hancock County

Now hiring: we are hiring a long-haul driver in Hancock County, Illinois. You will be based at a busy distribution depot. Requirements: • Clean driving record with no recent endorsements • Willing to take on night and multi-day trips • Current Driver CPC qualification card The role involves: • Present documents at weighbridges and check posts • Keep a safe following distance, adjusting for weather and load • Reverse and carry out blind-side manoeuvres at loading bays • Couple and uncouple the trailer and check the fifth-wheel lock • Report defects and book the unit in for servicing Rotating shifts.
