QC inspector — Rockwall County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a QC inspector in Rockwall County, Texas. Day to day you will calibrate and verify hand gauges before each shift; escalate recurring defects to the line supervisor or QA engineer; compare components against approved samples and engineering drawings; segregate and quarantine defective or out-of-tolerance items; draw samples from batches according to AQL sampling plans; operate height gauges, profile projectors and coordinate measuring tools. What we are looking for: • Understanding of AQL sampling and tolerance limits • Able to read engineering drawings and GD&T symbols • Good eyesight and colour vision for visual inspection Part-time with flexible hours.
