Tyre technician — Williamson County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a tyre technician in Williamson County, Illinois. You will work in a commercial truck tyre depot. Requirements: • Basic record-keeping and customer-facing skills • 1+ years' experience fitting and balancing tyres • Awareness of workshop health and safety Day to day you will handle truck and bus tyres, including split-rim assemblies; keep the tyre bay tidy and dispose of scrap tyres; inflate tyres to the manufacturer's recommended PSI, including nitrogen fills; vulcanize larger cuts on commercial tyres; log fitments and advise customers on tyre wear and replacement; jack up vehicles safely and set them on axle stands.
