Die-casting operator • McCurtain County, Oklahoma

Now hiring: we are hiring a die-casting operator in McCurtain County, Oklahoma. On a typical shift you will skim slag and dross off the melt before tapping and pouring; inspect castings for cold shuts, blowholes and shrinkage defects; tap the furnace and transfer the metal to the ladle; assemble cope and drag mould halves and clamp them together; melt scrap metal and ingots in induction or cupola furnaces; carry out shakeout and knock the castings out of the sand. You should have: • Physically fit to lift heavy moulding boxes and castings • Keen eye for casting defects during inspection • Willing to work in hot, dusty conditions and rotating shifts Six days a week, one day off.
