Vacancy available: we are hiring a beldar in Mono County, California. Your main tasks: • Set out levels with line and plumb under the mason's direction • Break out old walls and concrete with a jackhammer breaker • Fix and strip shuttering and formwork for beams and columns • Erect and dismantle scaffolding and pass materials up • Dig foundation trenches and pits with pick and shovel • Cure freshly laid concrete by sprinkling water for several days Ideal candidate: • Able to follow the mason's and supervisor's instructions • Know how to mix concrete and mortar to the right ratio • Willing to work outdoors in heat, dust and rain Full-time with occasional weekends.
