Great opportunity: we are hiring a D6/D8 dozer operator in Sheridan County, Nebraska. What we are looking for: • Good understanding of cut-and-fill and batter slopes • Familiar with GPS and laser machine-control systems Day-to-day duties: • Work to the dig plan and the banksman's signals • Refuel the machine and record running hours • Carry out pre-start checks on tracks, hydraulics, coolant and engine oil • Rip hard ground and rock using the rear ripper shank • Form embankments and batter slopes to the required angle • Operate crawler dozers to push and spread fill across the site Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Full-time, day shift. Walk-in interviews this week.
