Port container crane operator wanted in Posey County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a port container crane operator in Posey County, Indiana. Day-to-day duties: • Hoist, slew and lower loads smoothly and under control • Set up the outriggers and level the crane on firm ground • Read and interpret the load chart before every lift • Work out the load weight and the lifting radius • Grease the slew ring and inspect the wire rope for broken strands • Fit the counterweights and check the ground bearing pressure You should have: • A good head for heights for tower crane work • Current medical and eyesight certificate • Valid crane operator licence or certificate (CPCS, NPORS or local equivalent) Performance bonus on top of base pay.
