Vacancy available: we are hiring a stitching operator in Coffey County, Kansas. You will be based at a knitwear stitching unit. Requirements: • Understands fabric types and how to handle knits versus wovens • Able to read a spec sheet and follow a sewing operation breakdown On a typical shift you will thread the machine, wind bobbins and balance top and bottom tension; stitch seams, hems, side seams and shoulder joins to the marked seam allowance; meet the hourly piece-rate target without dropping quality; change needles, presser feet and folders to suit the fabric and operation. Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough. We offer $3,700 per month plus benefits. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Full-time with occasional weekends.
