Immediate opening: we are hiring a rigger in Douglas County, Wisconsin. Ideal candidate: • Physically fit to handle heavy chains, slings and shackles • Ability to read lift plans and rigging diagrams On a typical shift you will tag and quarantine any damaged or out-of-date rigging gear; secure loads with turnbuckles, chain blocks and lever hoists; attach wire rope and chain slings to loads using shackles and hooks; carry out daily checks on cranes, hoists and lifting tackle; rig and lift structural steel, precast panels and machinery into position; guide loads through tight openings into their final position. At least 3 year(s) in a similar role. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
