Ideal candidate: • Comfortable working long hours seated at a fast line • Hands-on with single needle, overlock and flatlock machines The role involves: • Inspect each piece for skipped stitches, broken thread and needle holes • Set armholes and sleeves, easing the cap so there are no puckers • Keep an even stitch density (SPI) and a straight, consistent seam line • Change needles, presser feet and folders to suit the fabric and operation Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough.
