Sand plant operator — Lincoln County

Join our team: we are hiring a sand plant operator in Lincoln County, Mississippi. You will work in a non-ferrous casting shop. What we are looking for: • Physically fit to lift heavy moulding boxes and castings • Able to read simple casting drawings and job cards The role involves maintain crucibles, ladles and furnace linings; mix and recondition moulding sand to the right moisture; fettle and grind castings to remove flash and rough edges; prepare green-sand moulds and ram the sand into the moulding boxes; melt scrap metal and ingots in induction or cupola furnaces.
