Bike messenger — Perquimans County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a bike messenger in Perquimans County, North Carolina. You will be based at a restaurant running its own delivery. Day-to-day duties: • Wear a helmet and reflective jacket and follow road-safety rules • Weave through heavy traffic while keeping to delivery time slots • Load and balance parcels safely in the rear carrier box • Plan the fastest route using the delivery app and GPS navigation • Collect parcels and documents from the despatch hub at the start of each shift • Update the delivery status (picked up, on the way, delivered) on the app in real time What we are looking for: • Own motorcycle or scooter in roadworthy condition, or willingness to use a company bike • Ability to ride safely in heavy traffic and in monsoon rain • Smartphone with a working data connection for the delivery app Rotating shifts.
