Machine operator (earthworks) wanted in Shiawassee County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a machine operator (earthworks) in Shiawassee County, Michigan. Day-to-day duties: • Strip and stockpile topsoil ready for reuse • Backfill trenches and compact the fill in layers • Clear sites, demolish structures and load out muck and rubble • Work safely around buried services with a banksman or spotter • Inspect tracks, bucket teeth and pins for wear before start-up Ideal candidate: • Valid CPCS/NPORS card or local heavy-equipment licence • Comfortable with GPS or laser machine control 2+ years on the tools preferred.
