Rigger wanted in Amite County

Now hiring: we are hiring a rigger in Amite County, Mississippi. You should have: • Comfortable working at height and in confined spaces • Able to inspect and reject defective lifting gear • Valid rigging / lifting certificate or banksman-slinger ticket Day-to-day duties: • Direct the crane operator with standard hand signals and radio • Set up spreader bars and lifting beams for long or awkward loads • Check sling angles to stay within the working load limit • Establish exclusion zones and keep workers clear of the lift area • Secure loads with turnbuckles, chain blocks and lever hoists At least 6 year(s) in a similar role.
