Ironing operator • Clinton County, Iowa

Join our team: we are hiring an ironing operator in Clinton County, Iowa. The job is at a garment factory. You should have: • 1-2 years' experience pressing garments in a factory • Able to operate a steam press, vacuum table and fusing machine • A keen eye for scorch, shine and uneven creases Day to day you will set the iron temperature to suit cotton, silk, wool and synthetic fabrics; check every piece for scorch marks, shine and water spots; fuse interlinings and fusible tape on the fusing press; spray water or starch to set sharp creases on trousers and shirts. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
