Brick and block layer wanted in Calhoun County

Join our team: we are hiring a brick and block layer in Calhoun County, Texas. Requirements: • Able to lay to line, level and plumb consistently • Proven experience laying facing and engineering bricks • Own trowel, spirit level and basic hand tools On the job you will handle: • Raking out and tooling the joints to a struck or bucket-handle finish • Spreading and furrowing mortar beds with the trowel • Pointing and repointing weathered mortar joints • Building the corners (leads) first and racking back the courses • Checking every course for height and level with a gauge rod • Laying bricks to the line, level and plumb At least 6 year(s) in a similar role.
