Blocklayer wanted in Clinton County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a blocklayer in Clinton County, Illinois. You will be based at a renovation and extension job. On a typical shift you will laying bricks to the line, level and plumb; buttering the perpends and tapping each brick down to the gauge; building the corners (leads) first and racking back the courses; bedding in air bricks, weep holes and wall starters; setting out walls from the drawings and marking the brick gauge; mixing mortar to the right consistency with sand, cement and plasticiser. Ideal candidate: • Physically fit for lifting bricks and blocks all day • Able to lay to line, level and plumb consistently Part-time with flexible hours.
