Machinist — Gada

On a typical shift you will inspect each piece for skipped stitches, broken thread and needle holes; trim loose threads, clip curves and notch corners as you go; press open seams or use a folder/binder attachment for bound edges; topstitch and edge-stitch with the correct margin for a clean finish. Ideal candidate: • Able to read a spec sheet and follow a sewing operation breakdown • Understands fabric types and how to handle knits versus wovens • 2+ years on industrial sewing machines in a garment factory Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough.
